I have just added a new feature to the site - Blogs! This was a big feature in the original World of Anime and I am happy to bring it back for the new World of Anime. You can find (and add) your blog posts from your profile by clicking on "Blogs" in the "Activities & Actions" section. Or by using the new "Blogs" link in the dropdown menu. The editor for blogs allows you to do things like change font size, align text, add lists, bold, italic, underline, and even add and resize images. You can also edit a blog post you have made by going to it and clicking on the ... dropdown menu and selecting Edit. I hope you enjoy this feature!

I have added a new feature to allow for profile customizations. This will allow you to set a custom banner, custom background image, custom colors, and several font settings for the text on your profile. This should allow you to make your profile much more personalized. You can customize your profile by going to Settings -> Customize Profile Let me know if you have any questions or comments. Let's see those creative profile pages!

Omg I love these new features so much. So far only issue I've come across is when I upload a profile background and then do multiple changes for some reason the resolution of the background photo shrinks making the resolution terrible.

Actually, it may have nothing to do with the changes. I just refreshed and the background image resolution went from great to terrible.

Thanks, I'm glad you like the new profile customization features! The problem you were seeing with the background image is because every time an image is uploaded, an image processing service takes it and creates multiple resized versions. The customized profile was using the smallest of the resized versions, resulting in poor image resolution when it was used as a background. I have changed it so that with profile customizations, it now uses the originally uploaded file for background images. So it should look much better now.
